15 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator between today and the end of next week (8th - 16th September 2016) - just over two per working day.
According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their trade creditors a combined total of approximately E2.85m.
Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2015.
Between January 1st and September 8th this year, 409 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 19% on the same period in 2015 when 503 companies had held an MOC.
