12 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator next week (18th - 22nd April 2016) - an average of just over two per day.
According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their trade creditors a combined total of E4.2m.
Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2015.
Between January 1st and April 15th this year, 181 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 24% on the same period in 2014 when 238 companies had held an MOC.
