20 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator next week (19th - 23rd October 2015) - an average of four meetings per day.
According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their trade creditors a combined total of E5.4m.
Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2014.
Between January 1st and October 16th this year, 540 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 27% on the same period in 2014 when 738 companies had held an MOC.
