5 Irish companies are scheduled to hold a Meeting of Creditors (MOC) to appoint a liquidator next week (21st - 25th September 2015) - an average of just one meeting per day.
According to their latest sets of filed accounts, these companies owe their short term creditors a combined total of E1.4m.
Figures for the year show that MOCs are down on the same period in 2014.
Between January 1st and September 18th this year, 499 Irish companies have held a meeting in order to appoint a liquidator - this is down 28% on the same period in 2014 when 690 companies had held an MOC.
This drop is yet another sign of our improving economy.
