Corporate insolvencies continue to remain below 2014 levels
Last month our figures showed that insolvencies this January were down approximately 38% on the same period last year.
A further two weeks in and insolvencies continue to remain low with 87 cases having taken place in the year to date - this is down 33% on the same period in 2014 (129).
57 (66%) of the insolvent companies this year have either had a liquidator appointed or been ordered to Wind-Up by the High Court.
A further 29 companies have had a receiver appointed and one company has been placed under the protection of the courts by having an examiner appointed.
