Company incorporations for the first 10 months of 2011 are up 5% and 10% on the same periods in 2010 & 2009 respectively.
Our latest research has shown positive signs, year on year, in the number of Irish Companies being formed.
Between 1st Jan & 31st Oct '11, we've seen the formation of 12,245 Companies (average of over 1,200 per month).
The Service and Wholesale & Retail sectors are the most popular industries for company Start-Ups, making up nearly 50% of all incorporations in 2011. Construction, formerly the industry of choice for Start-Ups makes up just 6% of newly formed companies this year.
November has started brightly with, on average, 40 Company Start-Ups being incorporated daily.
